Lifted by winches and crane, the 53 was gently eased onto her cradle, ready for her complete fit out and build completion, which is still on
The Fairlie 53′s backbone is in place and the next step will be the planking of the hull. The wood being used is the finest Teak available and one log has been hand selected by Duncan Walker of Fairlie, in Holland. He was on standby to oversee the cutting, as this teak is for all of the interior joinery and the deck hatches.
The brand new Fairlie 53, which was commissioned this August, is now well under way and on schedule for its launch in August 2013. The one off, custom design has now been in production for 6 weeks, so we shall keep you updated on its progress right through to completion next year. To re-cap, the
