Read moreFairlie craftsmen are currently creating a number of bespoke items for the 1930′s classic gentleman’s motor yacht Shemara, which is undergoing an extensive restoration programme in the UK. The work includes restoring and building considerable amounts of exterior joinery for the 65m motor yacht, including a number of teak weather-deck doors, a selection of intricately designed teak furniture and a variety of large wooden boxes for deck storage. The design of the items is in keeping with the 1930′s style of the motor yacht and they are being crafted to the highest quality using teak wood and traditional craft skills. The work is due to be completed in 2014 when this magnificent yacht is due for relaunch.
