The Fairlie 53 is a one-off custom world cruising yacht that has been designed with detailed input from the owner.
She is the realisation of a dream that will lead to a year of world cruising. The yacht has a ‘fin and skeg’ arrangement that is ideal for fast and easy cruising which will be combined with a modern rig designed to ensure easy short-handed sail handling. Toby Hodges from Yachting World recently reviewed progress on the yacht and commented “As you’d expect the craftsmanship is exemplary. Fairlie really are a design and build yard in the tradition of those of 100 years ago.”
